ACE – LOW NET – Lowest net score. (Total actual score minus your handicap.)
ACE OF THE MONTH – May be won only once in a calendar year. There will be 12 different aces of the month.
ACES WILD – Net score minus one putt.
ALIBI – Substitute par for the two highest holes. Deduct full handicap.
ALTERNATE SHOT (PARTNER GAME) – Each partner alternates shots. No ringer or handicap card needed. Average the two handicaps; deduct from gross for net score.
BEST BALL (PARTNER GAME) – Record the best team score on each hole. Average the two handicaps; deduct from gross for net score.
BETTER NINE – Choose either front or back nine. Deduct ½ handicap.
DOUBLE IF – Drop two worst holes, totaling 16 holes. Deduct full handicap.
DROP OUT – Drop two worst holes, one from front nine and one from back nine. Deduct full handicap.
EVEN HOLES – Total the nine even-numbered holes. Deduct ½ handicap.
4-CLUBS – Choose any four clubs to be used solely throughout the game. List clubs under players’ names. New Members: Use all clubs to establish your handicap. Current Members: This game will not be used for your handicap.
GORILLA GOLF – Play from the white tees. Everyone tees off; select best drive. Hole out as individual play. Deduct full handicap.
IF – Drop worst hole. Total 17 holes. Deduct full handicap.
LONGEST 9 – Total the scores on the 9 longest holes. Deduct ½ handicap.
MIDDLE NINE – Count only nine holes 6 – 14. Deduct ½ handicap.
ODD HOLES – Count only odd holes. Deduct ½ handicap. (1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17)
POKER – Net score plus five best holes.
PINK BALL (or PINK LADY) – Team game with a designated pink ball that rotates among players. Record the team score using the pink ball players. Deduct average handicap for all players to determine net team score.
RED, WHITE, RED – First 6 holes played from red tees, second 6 holes played from white tees, third 6 holes from red tees. Everyone tees off. Select best drive. Hole out as individual play. Deduct full handicap.
SELECTIVE NINE – Circle and total the best nine holes. Deduct ½ handicap.
STRIKE OUT – Discard three holes. Use gross score of the remaining holes.
THROW OUT – Throw out 2 three pars and two four pars.
VEGAS SCRAMBLE – Players are assigned numbers 1-4. After the tee off, roll the die to see which player’s drive will be used. Standard scramble format to hole out. Deduct team handicap.
T’s & F’s – Only count and total the holes that begin with T or F (2,3,4,5,10,12,13,14,15). Deduct ½ handicap.
WORST NINE – Count worst nine holes. Deduct ½ handicap and back scores.
