Congratulations to newest Hole In One: Treasa Skiles scored a HIO, August 19, on
hole #2, with her trusty 6 iron , that she has renamed “Ace” ! Here she is with her
foursome : Gwen Kirkpatrick, Kimberly Lynch, and Paula Bogotay. If you wish to
participate/contribute to the HIO pot, now’s the time. Sharon Brown will
collect your $5 . Good luck to all.
Special Meeting of the Membership: After much discussion, the Board recommends adding the position of
Webmaster to the Board. It would be an appointed, not elected, position. There are other minor changes to our By –
Laws that are being considered that will need approval of the membership. The Special Meeting will be held during the
Fall Scramble Luncheon, Oct 28. The proposed changes to the By Laws will be available for the Members’ review later
this month.
Kudos: Great job using the website to sign up for the following week’s play. Good job as well with maintaining a good
pace of play.
Heat Reminder: The calendar may say fall is approaching, but our weather is still hot. Stay hydrated and use
sunscreen.
